As soon as I saw this chair, I knew that I that I wanted it, and the faster it arrived in my life, the better. It would fit nicely in any number of work or home spaces and it just cries out to be sat in. If placed in a work space, it provides the perfect retreat for hard-thinking sessions, or time-outs from hard-thinking sessions. If placed in a living space, it provides a relaxation zone for those quiet nights in or an intimate chat space for close encounters. The gentle curves of this chair’s form are reminiscent of a mother’s shoulders without being overwhelming gender specific. I also love that it looks so cozy and inviting without looking childish. If I had to show a hug in chair form, this would be it. And because no matter how old you get, you are never too old for a hug, whenever I finally acquire this chair, I know that I will be ecstatic.[Text by Beverly Karhson]
